The University of Hamburg is situated in Germany's second biggest metropolis, in the heart of a bustling, cosmopolitan port city. With some 38.000 students, the University is the fifth largest in Germany. More than 100 degree courses are offered in a wide range of subjects. ICGS was established to foster excellent international education, research and training and to develop related service concepts. DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The Department of Economics and Business Administration is one of the most traditional and largest departments of the University of Hamburg. Its 17 institutes and 26 institutional departments offer a wide range of different thematic focuses, including among others: Finance, Marketing and Media, Industrial Management, Human Resources Management, Law and Economics, Economic Policy and Industrial Economics or International Economic Relations and Developing Countries
GIGA INSTITUTE OF ASIAN STUDIES (IAS)
The task performed by the GIGA Institute of Asian Studies (IAS) is the academic research of political, economic and social developments in the East and South East Asian countries. The GIGA Institute of Asian Studies (IAS) is a member of the 'European Alliance for Asian Studies'.
THE FUDAN UNIVERSITY IN SHANGHAI
Fudan University was founded in 1905 in Shanghai and is now one of the leading universities in China with a long-standing international reputation for academic excellence. The University is composed of 17 schools offering a complete range of majors and disciplines. The primary emphasis of Fudan University is to develop highly qualified graduates. The interdisciplinary approach of the different disciplines is stressed. The total enrollment is more than 36.000 students. SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT
The School of Management was founded in 1985, and has grown into a top-tier management school in China with 8 departments, 14 cross-disciplinary research centers, 3 laboratories, 1 executive training center and 1 consulting corporation. The School accommodates a student body of approximately 3.000 and a very strong faculty with both rich academic background and teaching experience in business education. As one of the best business schools in China, the School has rich successful experience in higher education and training for managers and business executives, and has gained remarkable achievements in cooperating with first-class business schools around the world.
